Traditional Kintsugi "Kokuso Class" (fixing a large missing part), by Ai Shimizu
 
Madame Shimizu of Urujyu from Kyoto is offering an advanced class for a large missing part. The "Kokuso Class" is to learn how to repair a large chip or missing part by using kokuso paste with urushi lacquer. In just 2 hours, you can master all the necessary steps, a process that typically takes weeks to complete.
 
Fee: 220 euros per person for the workshop (including a kintsugi kit)
120 euros (kit not included) only if you have already purchased an Urujyu kintsugi kit from us or if you have all suitable materials and tools to use in the class.

The kit will be provided at the class or you have to bring all suitable materials and tools depending of the price option you choose.
We will provide a broken pieces to repair in the class (personal objects will not be used).
