Traditional Kintsugi "Raden Class" (advanced finishing with mother of pearl), by Ai Shimizu

Madame Shimizu of Urujyu from Kyoto is offering an advanced class for finishing with mother of pearl. The "Raden Class" is to learn how to decorate and finish a large repaired area using mother of pearl, excluding the repair process itself. The combination of black urushi lacquer and glossy mother of pearl creates an effect reminiscent of a starry night sky
 
Fee: 265 euros per person for the workshop (including a kintsugi kit + other necessary materials).
165 euros (basic kit not included) only if you have already purchased an Urujyu kintsugi kit from us or if you have all suitable materials and tools to use in the class.

The kit will be provided in the class or you have to bring all suitable materials and tools depending of the price option you choose.
We will provide a ceramic piece to decorate in the class (personal objects will not be used).
